It’s okay to love Arc Raiders while you enjoy Marathon, vise versa.

Right now, after my third wipe I’m a bit burnt out of Arc Raiders.

I’m love how different, pvp focused, and actually… how little gear fear I have in Marathon more.

It’ll be my main multiplayer game for the foreseeable future.

Marathon at its core takes the best elements of Halo and Apex with rouge-lite elements wrapped in an extraction shooter.

Each map increases your risk, increasing your loot, and increasing your effectiveness.

Once I viewed it through that lens gear fear leaves the body. 😂

Marathon is so damn good!!!

Bungie’s shooting and weapon design are unmatched.

It feels like I’m playing the best of Halo and Destiny with a class system of Apex.

I’m having an absolute blast.

Marathon thoughts so far

I LOVE my time so far it’s REALLY fun!

The success of this game is a marathon not a sprint (sorry).

If given the time to adjust Ai difficulty, fix the Ui, and tweak the TTK I think it’ll fine.

These fixes may take time is Sony patient enough to wait?

Hard yes! Been loving my time!

Grace feels like RE7 & Leon feels like peak RE4.

I decided mid playthrough to switch their perspectives…

Suddenly grace’s gameplay felt like RE2 while Leon felt like the end of RE8.

In typical fashion, like clockwork, I am sitting at the gate waiting to board my flight home after an amazing weekend with friends, eyes tearing up and full of emotion.
