COVID-19 may Enduringly Impact Cognitive Performance and Brain Haemodynamics in Undergraduate Students To date, 770 million people worldwide have contracted COVID-19, with many reporting long-term “brain fog”. Concerningly, young adults are both overrep…

We cannot stay silent about this as to do so is to be complicit in the illogical & amoral approach of facilitating brain damage as part of the learning experience.

“37 % of the undergraduates exhibited impaired cognition up to 17 months post-infection.”

Long COVID isn’t rare.

According to the WHO, about 15 in 100 people still have symptoms 12 months after COVID-19 infection.

Prevent infection. Prevent reinfection. Protect your health.

I was hoping we'd start to see Covid rates drop in Japan with Xocova access, but sounds like maybe not? 😔

IDK, they don't seem to care that SARS2 is still here, causing debilitating long-term illness with 1 in 10 infections. Vax prevented worst acute outcomes but most are unaware of the danger we're still in cause airborne virus protections were prematurely removed with forced back to the office.

Until we address these issues, the majority will not, cannot, successfully comply as individuals. If u disagree, u have some level of financial privilege not enjoyed by everyone. #covid

Still n95/vax/avoiding shared air throughout the ongoing pandemic, but it's not easy. It's incredibly hard to be the only covid-cautious one at any age, but especially for young people. Lost opportunities abound: education, income, friendships, basic human contact.

If you feel safe getting Covid over and over because you believe the following,
"Covid only impacts the vulnerable"
I hate to break it to you, but if you're alive, you are "the vulnerable"
So Avoid Covid.

There are two categories; vulnerable and more vulnerable, no one is safe from the damage Covid can cause. Thinking you can’t be hurt by it because you’re not currently chronically ill is a bad personal health strategy.

too bad they continue to endanger the health of employees and their families by failing to acknowledge and mitigate the ongoing spread of airborne infection from SARS-CoV-2

they were one of the first to force return-to-office so may need to start with getting them to acknowledge it's airborne and still dangerous for everyone. scientists with constant COVID-19 reinfections can't help anyone

Study Reveals Symptoms Of Long COVID In Young Kids – Here's What To Look Out For The authors say it’s proof a “one-size-fits-all” approach doesn’t work with this condition.

There is no scientific evidence of ‘immunity debt’ from lockdown. There is #COVID and now it’s clear that children are suffering harm because these children never lived through lockdown. Still there is no action. It’s not normal for toddlers to suffer like this!
