He took the bowl and leaned against the nearby wall as he ate in silence for the first few minutes.

Dean always looked after him. Though the likelihood of him actually listening to Sam was pretty much zero.
"Yeah, but it's cool." Sam shrugged and felt around on the wall until he found the light switch.
He did his best to try not to laugh at his brother, stubbing your toe just the right way hurt like hell.
"You could stand to get some sleep." He said, trying to look out for Dean in the same way that
