Based at the Old Eight Bells community hub, the idea came from the team and the people we support themselves. Despite not having any podcast-making experience, they secured funding from the Learning Disabilities and Autism Programme at NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board!

Our team and the people we support have created a brand new podcast called Our Voice, Our Journey! This podcast is a space to share real stories and experiences in a very dynamic way.

It was so wonderful to share the exhibition with so many guests, including the fantastic Dr Jan Walmsley, who played a major part in the project, Minister of State for Social Security and Disability, Sir Stephen Timms, and Eleanor Van Heyningen from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Held at the Future Skills Centre in Exeter, the event brought together organisations working to create meaningful employment opportunities for people who need them most.
