HAMNET audiobook by Maggie OβFarrell, read by Ell Potter
I expected to love this one because I loved OβFarrellβs memoir, and yep, I did! Even if youβve seen the film, the nov has more to offer you, and her language is very easy to lose oneself in.

MARTYR! audiobook by Kaveh Akbar, read by Arian Moayed
Solid novel elevated further by excellent narration; I am going to have to reread the last chapter/thirty pages, because I finished it on a walk and the ending confused me due to divided attention.
BROS is a pretty solid queer romcom from the last decade. I really only watch sad queer stories (because I like to cry), so GODS OWN COUNTRY and FREIR FALL are big ones for me.
Depends on what you mean by happy ending. Iβll dm you.

I love the voter info guide; itβs always great to sit down with the family and discuss the candidates and issues with it to hand.

This is amazing.
When the government kills a crucial report, independent scientists decide to write it anyway and release it outside of government channels.
Thatβs science serving society, even when our political leaders donβt.
Is he constantly lying? Yes. Can you trust him? Yes. He is all of these things, all the time, says himself he died at 15 and lives In The Zone. The Zone is whatever you think it is, and itβs believable because of Mortensenβs skill in the role. Still waiting on that sequel.
βcover of legitimacy of the police force as a way to achieve maximum power? Yes. Is he willing to manipulate a dangerous and unpredictable man by queerbaiting him? Yes. Does he feel compassion for this same man who is himself caught in a cycle of violence & corruption he too may wish to escape? Yes.
1/3 Rewatched EASTERN PROMISES yesterday, and it is Mortensenβs god-tier performance. The layering he does with Nikolai is tremendous, and every interpretation you have of that character is Correct. Is he an undercover cop trying to do good? Yes. Is he an ambitious snake in the grass using theβ

This puts me at 10 people released. I filed my 1st habeas petition 29 days ago. I am an incredibly small-time, nobody lawyer who knew nothing about immigration law the day I submitted that case. I barely know any more today. I had never sued the federal government and now I've beaten them 10 times.

DEMON COPPERHEAD audiobook by Barbara Kingsolver, read by Charlie Thurston
While I know I would have enjoyed this novel regardless, Iβm really glad I listened to it over the course of three months because Thurstonβs narration made Demon come alive in a wonderful way.
Buddy, I donβt think I need to be privy to your weird obsession with Nate Bargaetze. Have a good life.
