I watched zootopia 2 on monday and I just watched zootopia 1, its crazy how starkly different the messages are. The first movie is pure, unfiltered copaganda, but the 2nd one is literally just a thinly veiled PSA about how cops only serve the interests of the ultra rich.

Im really wondering wtf happened to the thing where ur supposed to exit out of the back of a ttc bus.

9 times out of 10 I'll see someone exit at the front and hold up a group of people trying to board when they could easily walk to the back and not add an extra 10-20 seconds to every stop.

When I start my stem adjacent youtube channel I'm gonna follow the Ididathing playbook and do wood and metalworking projects for 6 months and then hard pivot to crude weapons and barely justifiable contraptions.

The weird thing about anirevo toronto being on the weekend is that the nice people who live in and around downtown Toronto just stay home on weekends and go out during the weekdays. Then, all the douchey, ignorant, judgemental suburbanites descend into the city to treat it like an amusement park.

I went to a jack astors last night and it was harrowing. I'm attending Anirevo Toronto, and as soon as you step out of the insular weeb atmosphere at the convention centre its like "oh right 60% of Canadian society is a bunch of conservative douches".

Its weird being the type of person who doesnt fit in anywhere, I'm too normal for weird people, and I'm too normal for weird people. It feels like no matter what I do I'm always one foot in with any community I associate myself with with reservations about going any deeper.

the skate discourse is insane because if you read what the critics are saying, theyll say "this game is an affront to skate culture" alongside remarks like "andy anderson has no significance to skate culture"

So an update about my life. I got the wobbles on my unicycle going like 90 ish kph, and I lost control and had to dump it. So now im stuck at home for 2 months and I guess the only thing I can do is stockpile releases for the next year.

I think the sherman L only weighs 15 more pounds, which in the grand scheme of things isnt that noticeable. Its like 16% more weight for 48% more battery.

I think you should get the L, all my friends sold their lynxes to get Ls because they felt restricted by the 2700wh battery in the lynx.

But alas, I think its only good on pavement, I've heard the 130mm of travel makes it a great off road wheel but I think theres too many plastic fairing pieces on it to bang it up.

I suggest it fully but only if you want to just go insanely fast all the time and/or ride seated a lot.

Also the weight makes it less twitchy to balance at low speeds, but consequentially makes it more sluggish at performing fast movements. Also the tall height of the wheel makes it feel nicely substantial between your legs, and the seated riding is joyful, I've gone whole hour long commutes seated.

I think one of the best wheels overall right now is the sherman L, a lot of my riding friends are hopping on the sherman L train. Id suggest that as a blind recommendation, I dont think youll be disappointed with any aspect of it.

Oh youre in the loop, yeah its an ET Max. Its absurdly fast, I regularly go 90kph+ on it. Its heavy by euc standards, but the weight and big suspension adds a ton stability at speed, 50kph feels slow on it, it only wants to go fast. Suspension adjustment is great too once you get some lube on it.

oh, they are split, its 4 84 volt batteries connected in series pairs by a distributor board, and then combined in parallel and sent to the motherboard as a 168 volt connection. Im not touching it anymore lol I just needed to make sure the distributor board wasnt broken.
