Was just reminded of the three worst calls in The Best Show's entire WFMU run were all in a row during the final call segment of the final WFMU broadcast. All gloriously, genuinely terrible for different reasons, back to back to back.

I love Tom's videos! Been showing everyone his WCW Worldwide video because it was one of my favorite wrestling shows growing up. Waking up super early on Sat mornings and getting all the weekly WCW shoved into one recap show + random mid card matches scratched a specific itch.
It all blends together into a late 90s WB teen megamix.
The pride of New Jersey.
Toni rolling and cloying around the ring in someone else's loose hair is, once again, the barefoot & feral energy we need in wrestling.
Bumping for exposure
I have stalled currently where I am, and have begun the process of selling more thing I own as a means to make money.
Another misheard lyric alert! Just realized in "Speedoo" by The Cadillacs, the lyric is NOT "I'm thinking of the Folgers Girl," it's "And takin' other folks' girl."
This entire thread is great.
Give what you can! Even a few bucks from enough people can make a big difference.
Song seriously slaps tho
*plays "As For Dreams" a thousand times*

All this discourse over the Men's USA hockey team, when the real story is Mumford & Sons is apparently still a thing and playing SNL in 2026.
In honor of PokΓ©mon's 30th anniversary, I would like to share my favorite PokΓ©mon-related thing: the original manga created alongside the games and released in 97/98. (Thread)
I knew about the crate for months now, but was cursed to secrecy by Danhausen.
But this first run of comics remains a pure look at PokΓ©mon right at the cusp of it's global ascension, when its creative freedom was at an all time high.
After this initial run, the whole PokΓ©mon universe would snap more in line to follow the lead of the anime (the protagonist in this manga is even named "Red" just like in the game, not "Ash" like in the anime).
More than the actual anime, those original comics nailed the scope and adventure of the games, while (and this is a big part of it) making the actual PokΓ©mon seem like truly wild, often scary, wild animals.

Post a pic you took, no context, to bring some zen to the feed.
