On Juneteenth, we celebrate freedom and recommit ourselves to the work that remains undone. We remember that even in the darkest hours, there is cause to hope for tomorrow’s light.

Medicaid is under attack. Here's my story. As a young wife and new mom, my son was a micro-preemie. He spent 5 months in the NICU before dying in my arms. His final bill was $1.2 million. Medicaid automatically took over and I'm forever grateful, especially with funeral costs, too. #MomSky
