Honest Q: How do y'all find motivation for yet another social network? π€£
After years on Twitter, I engaged mainly in meta-discussions (science of science, open science) and wasnβt getting much promotion of my work. Is social media still actually useful for typical-not-popular scientists?
It didnβt or doesnβt make sense to invest in Julia as Python is ideal for RSE, as I had been promoting it since 2018:

this would be only truly grumpy if we get gary marcus, yann lecun and pedro domingos :)
mine shows a lot of names I don't even recognize, as is often the case with papers on large projects/consortia with a ton of authors :)
