Today sucks because I'm alone and being alone means I have to deal with the customers. Ugh.
And that just feels great! The only downside is that I've mostly turned my back to podcasts and will probably never catch up on some of the shows I used to listen to. I don't regret it at all, though β¨οΈ
After switching to Audiobooks in 2022, I now finally understand the notion of 'rereading your favorite books just to return to your comfort characters'. I never had a lot of time to read, but now I have, and I read my current favorite book 4 times in the span of a year (along with 50+ other books)
As in, there are cosplays that I'd love to wear, but I don't have the time, energy or motivation to make a whole outfit, so here we are π€·ββοΈ
I'm in my tired and overworked Era (considering to just buy a few cosplays so I can actually focus on the things I REALLY want to make myself) lol.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Shades of Magic! I read all of them in like two weeks or so because I couldn't stop. It has a teensy bit of romance, but the focus is clearly on the story.
On that note, I'm still bringing two new cosplays which I managed to complete in time, so I'm still calling it a success!
Adult decisions have been made aka I will not wear Adam next week. We don't want to rush the cosplays, because we want them to be pretty and we're too old for con-crunch.
This week is stressful, but if all goes well, I'll debut 3 all new cosplays at Leipzig Bookfair (and none of them is the Link Cosplay I worked on for the past year π)

My back hurts but I spent 3 hrs cutting a bunch of fabrics on the floor and now I have all the parts for Adam's robe!
Ich hab im ersten Ausbildungsjahr 195β¬ bekommen. Ohne Unterhalt von beiden Eltern + UnterstΓΌtzung vom Staat hΓ€tte ich das nie machen kΓΆnnen. Mein Betrieb hatte 3 Gesellen und 9 Azubis. Kann man sich vorstellen, warum das so war β wir haben alle ab Tag 1 an KundenauftrΓ€gen mitgearbeitet.
