That kind of thing really pisses me off! Like on top of everything else, we have money to just throw away on bad food. Really REALLY pisses me off.

I TRY to do the very best I can by every dog. Every dog is so deserving. (Well MOST anyway. I suppose there are some just cantankerous old dogs out there too. lol)

I knew my poor babe didn't have many days left when it got to that point. She did about another six months. Still had some good days. I didn't want the balance of her days to be bad. So we took a gentle hiking trip in our favourite trails, had lunch together under our tree, and then to the vet appt.

Dogs can be very weird. lol My old girl at age 13 went kinda loopy in the head. She became afraid of her dinner bowl. Never figured out why. She would not eat until I poured the food out on the patio. That was definitely cognitive decline tho in her case (age).

To clarify, I did date a FEW but not seriously. I dated lots of women over the years. Still besties with a few of them. :)

I never really dated males. (I did a curious loop with a few of them later in life - not impressed. lol) I just got tired of all the drama in relationships. Decided I'd rather be selfish and live with dogs. And yes, I'm happy with that decision. :)

Does anybody recognize this plant? Google Image is not being very helpful. Found this a few years ago in a regular hiking area Never seen before, tons of them, shrubs. Somebody said PawPaw, but I don't think so. Central Mississippi (hardwoods, oak, pine nearby).

The WH solar panels removal is a subject that makes me livid every time I think about it.

Mine is instant. Only myself to blame.

I have kept a handful of books over my lifetime that I enjoy so much I read them over & over across the years. Nothing profound in them particularly, they just "taste good" to my mind. lol Don't get me started on music...!
