I don’t like to draw mainstream characters for labubu-brained normies who only like them because their popularity is labubu-fied (Just saying... but... in the official soulsborn series, the Elden Ring is below Dark Souls 2… and I've never played Dark Souls 2)

The only thing that makes me want to draw fanart again is all those small, forgotten characters from unfairly forgotten franchises that only intellectuals remember.

And then there is the whole AI thing, where every character is made in every situation, wearing every clothing, in every pose…

...But then again, there are either enough artists doing Rule63 this these days, or there are official female versions of male characters that I'd wanted to draw.

And in general, there is no point in drawing fanart when there are so many artists who can do it better than me.

...The DOOM gal and the FeMaster Chief from 2019 have both gotten over 600k view each, which was a lot for any twitter artist back then (yet considering how forgotten I am as an artist these days, I'm lucky when they get even 600 views)...

Besides that, I don’t want to do any fanart for a franchise owned by the people who disrespect their own community and fan-creator. GW are the shit-slurping cock-suckers now.

...but there are more artists drawing sexy WH40k art now than there was sexy WH40k art when I started. And I have already drawn everything I wanted, in the highest quality I could. Doing that a second time isnt my thing (except maybe re-drawing some of the early female astartes).

It is already two years since I stopped doing fanart, and I have no desire to return. Not only because I enjoy making my own Horny Fiction World, but also because there are no reasons to return anymore.
