Balendin Enbeita, a legendary Basque mprovisational poet, who fought Franco, was wounded and imprisoned and later founded a school to pass on skills to another generation of poets

Ramón Rubial Cavia, a Trade Union activist, fought Franco, was captured and imprisoned and later led the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party. A very cool statue.
