Comparison of older and newer pick-up truck. Although the truck bed is essentially the same, the overall truck size is substantially larger and higher.
Trucks have been getting bigger, more energy & space consuming, more polluting, and much deadlier to everyone around them including kids. Not because most of us actually need bigger vehicles, but as ego boosts, status symbols & “indicators of male virility.” Note the truck bed is basically the same.

Took a while but I found the Guardian article. O’Loughlin wouldn’t read it as she thought it unparliamentary! I agree with Senator Hansen-Young “This is revolting, sexist, racist, misogynistic, divisive stuff on free-to-air radio from 6am to 10am in the morning and you have not investigated it.”
Yet many capitalist/billionaires went to Ivy League schools or sent their kids there. Total double standard.
