Okay so it turns out these aren't just for paid posts. Anything you get sent and then feature online is considered payment in kind and apparently you need to declare these as income to be taxed. Have no idea about arcs seems as they have no monetary value.
This is what I thought too but apparently if you're getting paid and make a career as an influencer these are considered payment in kind and are then subject to tax
Do any bookish folk have any information on if you need to pay taxes on books sent from publishers to review? And if so how do arcs come into this when they're not for sale? #booksky
