Ja, das ist richtig. Wäre ja auch extrem undemokratisch. Deswegen wollen wir, dass das Verfassungsgericht prüft, ob es sich bei der AfD um eine demokratische Partei handelt. Nur wenn nicht, dann kann sie verboten werden.
Ein mögliches AfD-Verbot ist nicht das Ende der Demokratie,
es ist ein Instrument der Demokratie. Das Grundgesetz hat genau dafür zurecht extrem hohe Hürden eingebaut. Wer schon die Prüfung als „Ende der Demokratie“ bezeichnet, stellt das Prinzip der wehrhaften Demokratie auf den Kopf.
