Still a lot to be proud of. It was so great to see NHL players in this tournament again and I hope this isn't the last time we see (most of) these players in the Olympics.

I personally had a hard time playing this game because the font sizes were quite small, and I do not have vision impairment.
I don't know what changes were made to the game since Wii U and if any accessibility options existed then or now.
Sad. This will sour the games for sure.

Mixed Doubles is a very different game and the competition seem very close in skill level. I hope they are able to drown out the negativity and focus on the accomplishment to be an Olympian and represent Canada
This past week felt like a real slog. Work was a drag, a family member (second cousin) passed away, the nonsense in the USA, and the weather just kept me miserable every day.
But today has been nice as I've just been watching sports all afternoon. Honestly surprised on how recharged I feel.

Yup!
I stopped taking transit in November.
Transit was my primary mode of transport to and from work for almost 17 years.
The schedule changes added 30-45 minutes to my overall commute (there and back) and that's only if the transfers lined up.

Hahah. At first my thought was "Really?" and then I convinced myself that you and I only played Fighting or Karaoke video games together and a lot more time playing Tabletop games so an explanation was warranted.

During the PSX/N64 generation I played Super Metroid & got hooked. I beat it repeatedly trying to improve my completion time. Before having the internet, my brother & I would try to find ways to sequence break.
I have physical copies for most of the series.
