I can take your point. I guess my view on a prototype is to answer a particular question to de-risk the final product. If this can help accelerate that then great, if not back to basics and a bit more hand cranked approach will be needed. I see Axure as the current winner in that regard.
A lot of folks, after last years keynote were looking for more prototyping & I believe their approach is rather then incrementally improving the noddles they took a whole new approach & thought lets make higher-fi prototypes with Figma Make. Curious to play with it & see myself!
