You know who wasn’t surprised that Chomsky was bad? Literally everyone who cared that he denied the genocide in Bosnia. It speaks quite poorly of class politics first people to have not listed to us then.

Drilling for new oil and gas won't cut energy bills, it won't create stable jobs for our communities, and it will only worsen the climate emergency.

We need a Green energy revolution to make heating our homes cheaper and build a sustainable future for our communities. 🌍

Rob Jetten’s new Dutch government wants to save NATO  Foreign Minister David van Weel tells POLITICO Trump has damaged trust, and Europe needs to reduce its reliance on America, but shouldn’t cut ties just yet.

When pro-European liberal Rob Jetten defeated the far right to win the Dutch election three months ago, he gave centrists across the region cause to hope.

Now, with a coalition deal finally agreed, his incoming government intends to do the same for NATO.

When I see these figures I am very grateful that we have managed to keep Oscar in special school throughout his school years, avoiding mainstreaming him into 'normal' school - we have taken the decision to keep him happy and content throughout his childhood, avoiding bullying and mistreatment as well as exclusion and thinking that he can think of grades and qualifications a little later on in life, hopefully doing art at college or such like. This also makes me think of all the students that I deal with as SPS Director of Students with neurodiversity who have managed to get into university (one of the best ones in the world) but are sometimes very young and are really quite struggling with not just their studies but also their lives and sometimes even basic life skills, being lonely and isolated. I am telling myself that living autism puts me in a better position to offer some advice and support, but I am not always sure.
