When I see these figures I am very grateful that we have managed to keep Oscar in special school throughout his school years, avoiding mainstreaming him into 'normal' school - we have taken the decision to keep him happy and content throughout his childhood, avoiding bullying and mistreatment as well as exclusion and thinking that he can think of grades and qualifications a little later on in life, hopefully doing art at college or such like. This also makes me think of all the students that I deal with as SPS Director of Students with neurodiversity who have managed to get into university (one of the best ones in the world) but are sometimes very young and are really quite struggling with not just their studies but also their lives and sometimes even basic life skills, being lonely and isolated. I am telling myself that living autism puts me in a better position to offer some advice and support, but I am not always sure.

I am grateful that we have managed to keep Oscar in special school throughout his school years, avoiding mainstreaming him into 'normal' school - we want to keep him happy, avoiding bullying and exclusion and thinking that he can think of qualifications later on.

The Swedish social democrats will introduce feminist foreign policy should they win the elections - perhaps there’s some hope after all.

Hopefully these MSc students will go out there and change the world- I know that they inspire me. My Feminist Foreign Policy course is in full swing.
