The Broadway composer of "Annie" and "Bye Bye Birdie" died Thursday at 96.

At issue is Wisconsin’s 2023–25 biennial budget bill that included an education revenue limit increase for two fiscal years. Using his partial veto authority, the governor expanded the provision from two fiscal years to 402 fiscal years by striking words and digits from the bill. We conclude that those 2023 partial vetoes do not violate the constitution.

In Illinois, we stand with those with autism, and I’ll keep fighting for inclusion, science, and the truth.
I listen to our nation’s highest officials speak with complete contempt and disregard for humanity, dignity, and (dare I say) *life*, and I am thoroughly repulsed. Human beings matter, and they are worthy of dignity and love and respect and regard, without qualification.
