I’m reading Jon Fosse’s “Septology” and your post reminds of the paintings of the protagonist. I recommend the book.
Thirty-four years ago today, I was ordained a priest in Christ’s One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. I am grateful and humbled for all my experiences through the years. It’s been an amazing journey full of twists and turns but a deep personal blessing that God continues to take me deeper.
Seems like this should be the minimum a follower of Jesus should do. But alas…

I recommend Brian’s reflections. He articulates my feelings/experiences of well-meaning preachers who lose the mystery of the Gospel story, attempting to somehow solve it, losing the beauty of it in the process.
