I think it’s more that the internet and how people access it has changed. People won’t read 20 page long recaps on their phones. There wouldn’t be all those forums with social media/reddit. Probably less money from ads than ever, too. Content is the least of the problems.

Like I would love love love a truly accessible subway system with frequent and fast trains that didn’t make me go into Manhattan first if I want to go to the Bronx or Queens, but we don’t and probably never will. I don’t think this toll will meaningfully get us there but I would love to be wrong!

But before Cuomo we still had decades of needed expansion of the subway system that just hasn’t happened. The majority of stations still aren’t accessible, which is inexcusable to me.

I assume it’s because they want to make sure they’re getting $$$ from NJ commuters.

When you go from west side highway to holland tunnel there’s a small stretch of road in the congestion zone you have to drive on. West side hwy is outside congestion zone but you can’t avoid congestion zone if you want to go to holland/Lincoln tunnels and vice versa

No no no, they said people from Iowa can’t do math and love cars and have lumpy asses. I think Iowa is very nice.
