I hope it’s true! I interpreted the cuts as an attempt to thread the needle between not wanting to actively censor fans while also not wanting to make any space for it. But I do hope you’re right.
This was nice but they also seemed to go to great lengths to try not to air them; cutting to commercial before Brody’s music ended, and then the very very conspicuous cut right before the match started. Seems 1000% intentional.

Swerve *was* 2 years ago. I would have liked to see him keep it longer, but Hangman has had the most successful 2 years of anyone in the company, save Toni. He is universally beloved, his reign was incredibly impactful, and his next chapter looks compelling. He is losing the belt, not the spotlight.
