Cracking find! Great to have some proper St Ives coverage not just last season seawatches
Nice! Am i right in thinking its here ish? Happy to be nearby in the week maps.app.goo.gl/r2XmzcMuFpp4...
Give it 2 months and weโll be praying for rain and south easterlies!
Nicely done Andy
What time frame for the latter Alex? Since c2010 this is firmly been on the radar in Mounts Bay and nearby at least
Happy new year Paul! 5 new for such a well watched patched is amazing, hopefully get some more next year!
How does the sand point year list compare to others mate?
Thanks Derek ๐
It wasnโt this morning, but seems to be more regular in afternoons
Enjoyable morning on the old patch at Hayle today - ad Caspian, 2 YLG, ad argentatus, 2 GND, Water Pipit and best of all found this 1w Ring-billed Gull - it flew W c1010 #cornwallbirding
Happy Christmas Steve! Canโt be too many annual highlight reels with more from Spring than autumn down here
300 by June is mental!
Fem Ring-necked Duck at St Gothian this evening, assume the bird from Tehidy, with a cracking sunset. Merry Christmas! ๐ #cornwallbirding
๐ฎ
Oh there goes that theory ๐
Canโt remember going to Tehidy without Tufties in winter!
Interesting isnโt it. Assume thereโs the normal numbers of Tufties there Steve? And from that assume that to be a key driver - no major flock at Stithians, Loe Pool etc. In Penwith only St Goths, Tehidy and HBL with Tuftiesโฆ
Nice!!! When you said phone footage I didnโt realise it wasnโt thru a scope ๐
Amazing finch movement for the wind mate!
Quality Paul! Great Little Auk count and late for quite a few bits there, Black Tern notably so. North coast Eider a good record too
Ring-necked Duck at Helston Boating Lake this morning #cornwallbirding
Oof! Very nicely done Andy ๐๐
Fantastic find! Hopefully you have received CBWPS reply; Steppe Grey Shrike is a second for Cornwall ๐
Could get it done beforehand! With a big Craig thrush or two
And congrats @maddyhine.bsky.social , very well deserved ๐
Not the big 300 is it?!
Just about worth leaving patch for ๐
Nicely done!
Good luck!!
Any Whoopers on St Tredwell loch? Had 20 odd Swan from the plane, guessing thatโs more than you usually have for Mutes?
Hi Steve, are you aware of any pics of the Yank Wigeon about? Had a grey-headed thing at Peedie so was interested
