So glad I raised Gen Z kids…but this survey breaks my heart when I read that only 44% of Gen Z (males or females) voted in 2024. As a GenXer, I’ve never NOT voted since I turned 18.
I think some of these numbers are deceiving. I deleted all my X data and left my profile bio with my Bluesky account. Technically I’m still an account on X (because I teach social media), but I haven’t been on the platform since end of January 2025.
The richest 0.1% of Americans control $22 trillion in wealth.
The bottom 50% control $3.8 trillion in wealth.

Really feel like I’m losing my mind: government OBVIOUSLY cannot punish an individual law firm for hiring someone it disfavors! It’s ludicrously unconstitutional and I feel like without a day of law school I could argue the case. And yet the best paid lawyers in the country are folding?

I officially left Twitter by changing my profile & header pics to show my #Bluesky username. I downloaded my data, then deleted all of my tweets since 2009. (I have to keep an account but only to teach & do analytics research on social media platforms). Feels freeing but odd at the same time.
