It’s just really fuckin good. All the systems flow into each other perfectly, and while I love all the games you mentioned, it fixes a lot of issues I had with them too. Ive been super critical of Pokemon games the past 10 years but Im finding it very hard to find anything to criticise here lol

Yeah I agree, this has maybe a little too little going on for its asking price ($299 nzd here!!). 1200 pieces?? A second building probably would’ve sweetened the deal at least. By comparison the Jaws set is $269 nzd, more pieces and has more going on :(

I didn’t encounter one til after i put both organs in the body. But I also didn’t see another blister head as grace again? Literally just the 1 on normal diff for me. HEAPS as Leon. So maybe it is time and area revisits too, BUT only after the organ puzzle?

And that felt a little jarring after how into the care centre I was. I wouldn’t have been mad if Leon’s stuff was constant snippets interwoven in throughout the whole game, and the game was primarily Grace dealing with shit in 2 big locations (maybe the umbrella lab gets expanded a bit)

LOVED the games. I do think the RC stuff just felt a little lower quality compared to the care centre AND re4r. It’s hard to put my finger on it, maybe it’s that it felt like a video game ass video game after how immersive the care centre felt. Not the combat, but the design, tasks, graphics, etc.

Not just current gen, seeing how popular their $20 FRLG re-release has been really drives it home that the kids need to be learning about piracy from a young age lol

Also I know RC had the shit bombed out of it but I kinda wish it had a little more variety and colour, and didn’t just look like the set of one of the later resident evil movies set in the apocalypse lol

On the note about things being grey (and brown) I found myself kinda wishing more of the game was set in Wrenwood! The opening while you’re walking down the street in the rain is so pretty and it’s always really cool to see the START of an outbreak but it felt a little cut short

I think the Switch 2 kind of sucks comparatively speaking, but unfortunately it has a couple of great exclusives, so I persist. If exclusivity stopped being a thing overnight or we figured out Switch 2 emulation on PC, I’d sell the thing in a heartbeat lmao

I’d love to see a breakdown on what the pricing diff would be if theyd put a better screen on the Switch 2, but yeah def a case of minmaxing profits lol. Agreed on the better LCD. I picked up a Trimui Brick for GBA emulation, that has an LCD screen and it blows the Switch 2 screen out of the water
