Thank you - I really admire Eastshade and what they've created with their world so that is a very kind complimentβ€οΈ

Thanks for sharing this - the more people Meadowfell reaches the better:)
Meadowfell on iPad. I ADORE rivers so they were one of my favourite additions. If you create multiple ones they'll join up as well with waterfalls, and rivers are in Meadowfell, Wilderless, and Dune Barrensπ #indieGames

With the cost of so many things rising lately, it's understandable people react strongly when something they want feels out of reach. I think frustration is a pretty normal response.

Nimian Legends: BrightRidge was my first open-world adventure game and I'm preparing a new iPhone and Android update. Hanging out at BrightRidge Inn again brings back a lot of memoriesπ

I had to save up for this but it's worth it. Hundreds of pages of beautiful art, and insight into the challenges and innovations in one of my favorite games, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, which also takes the crown for most naturalistic landscapes in a video gameβ€οΈ
Wilderless 2.4 on iOS and Android. The river generator lets you spawn rivers and waterfalls, or find natural ones like on this mountain side, and of course fly as a dragonπ

Theres some more information in the Unity discussions here:

Unity Asset Store will remove all assets from publishers based in China, Hong Kong, and Macau after March 31, 2026.
I'd really like to understand the bigger story behind this because it has broader implications for growing global divides.

I love Blender, it's a great example of strong software that benefits from being open source.
I finally cancelled my Adobe subscription. It feels strange after so many years with Illustrator and Photoshop. I've been preparing with Affinity, Reaper, and Phoenix Code so we'll see how it goes. But it does feel good to remember we can choose what tools we create withβ€οΈ
That's a great superpower to have π
Nimian Legends: BrightRidge update is on the way for iPhone, iPad and Android.
Thanks for the helpful adviceπ
I just passed 400 copies sold of Dune Barrens on AndroidβοΈThanks everyone for buying, playing, reviewing. It's on sale for $3 a few more days so if you enjoy peaceful open-world exploration in a wild, sunlit desert (or know someone who does), take a look:

Love itβ€οΈ
I'm being extra careful not to pass my due dateβΊοΈ
Just make games
It's not easy but it's possible depending on your situation
I'm focusing on learning new tools instead, and I've been learning Affinity, Reaper, and Phoenix Code to replace them.
I've been preparing to do something that's a lot harder than it seems - cancelling Adobe after 25 years using them when my subscription ends in mid March. I've been converting files and learning to use alternative programs for months. You get attached to software so it kind of feels like a break up.
This will help. As we get older we realize health comes first, and taking the time to change habits is a great step and I am hope he will feel better soon.
It's great to see the Family Gaming Database on Bluesky too:) Thank you for mentioning Wilderlessβ€οΈ
Thanks for mentioning Meadowfell and I'm glad you know it:) Also glad you call it a relaxing experience. thats my goal.
It's hard to watch mobile games disappear, especially ones you worked hard on. there's got to be a better way to preserve them like with consoles and PC games. I just pulled out my twenty year old Wii and played super Mario galaxy
This will help game devs - knowing what setups run smoothly and which have problems
