Yooooooo! The pet gigs sound great for studying lots of creatures up close.
I also worked in a family owned print shop! I learned lots about printing but the small family dynamic was tough (evangelists uhg)

On the flip side, I now have little tolerance for alcoholics, dickhead millionaires and the bourgeoisie. Instant assholes, just add booze. Mechanical issues of the train would make for some very long days, but it's to be expected with 100 yo engines. I would love to comic these stories someday :)

I have many great memories. I worked inside antique train cars from the early 1900s. The line runs through some incredible wildernesses. Made great friends. I experienced some wild nature shenanigans like fire, avalanche, rock and mudslides. Worked in blizzard and summer heat. Drank so much coffee!
