It's no longer just "shocking". We must NOT slack from our mission to boycott these extreme right-wing maga jackasses.
My friend @psychopete.bsky.social is a great source for more info!
Slotkin: "If Russia is helping to kill US forces, we have crossed a rubicon. We have to take decisive action on that. Instead, we're giving them breaks on oil. They're making a ton of money."
<sigh> Yeah. The Clown Shoes Cabinet.
(DEM wins) Trump is temporarily lifting sanctions on Russian oil so more of it can flow onto the global market. It is a stunning admission of failure. Trump blew up the Middle East, sent energy prices soaring, and now wants to ease the pain by giving Moscow exactly what it wants: more oil revenue.
Please read and share. The βgrassrootsβ support for the SAVE America Act is a lie. The campaign pushing this bill is being run by Cleta Mitchell and Scott Presler, two of the most notorious election deniers in the country.
The killing of schoolchildren should shock our conscience and cause us to recoil in horror. A nation whose leaders can so easily shrug off the death of children, no matter the cause, is in need of moral repair. There must be accountability and lessons learned from this tragedy. And we must never forget that Iranian children, too, are children of God. 7:08 PM Β· Mar 12, 2026 Β· 7,179 Views
Shouldn't be rare to see this said by a US senator
Absolutely, flabbergastingly insane.
That the US made this horrendous mistake is outrageous. The fact that the administration then LIED about it ought to be impeachable. But we don't live in a nation of accountability. www.nytimes.com/2026/03/11/u...
It's looking increasingly like these guys thought that if they could wreak more death and destruction than the other side then they would be respected as strong powerful men and they would "win" and that would make them big important heroes. Very possibly they had no rationale deeper than that.
Sigh. More about scientists and Epstein (starring some familiar names).
Of course, just knowing JE or attending a conference he sponsored isn't necessarily an indictation of participation in his less ethical activities. OTOH a lot of people turned a blind eye to them.

Elizabeth Warren: "I am a hard no on a supplemental. This is not a war the American people want us to engage in. This is not a war that makes us safer ... No. No more money. The only thing Congress has the power to do is to stop actions like this through the power of the purse."
This week Donald Trump threatened more war crimes on the people of Iran. We are now in the most dangerous phase of this crisis, and pretending otherwise is reckless. Most lead toward devastating war. Only one path offers a chance to stop it.

"Yes, building less dangerous cars and more forgiving roads would help address the USβs sky-high tally of roadway fatalities. But another way to save lives deserves far more attention than it gets: Stop forcing Americans to drive so much." @davidzipper.bsky.social www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Johnson: I think what we are learning from the Epstein files was a well-coordinated act of treason. If you think about how they use blackmail to get policymakers to act outside of the best interests of this nation and our Constitution, thatβs treason.

The USβs wastewater surveillance system is much more robust than it was a few years ago thanks to supplemental funding for Covid 19 tracking. That system could help estimate measles numbers as clinical data lags behind. But, guess what, the Trump admin is planning to gut that, too.
Measles is a highly contagious virus. Itβs also one we know how to contain. But as cases in the US accelerate past 1000, the Trump admin is refusing to take obvious steps to mitigate the spread. My latest.

The fuck kind of answer is this
A new Senate report alleges that over 1,000 FEMA contracts, grants, or disaster assistance awards were delayed under Kristi Noem's watch.
Why?
Because she demanded to sign off on expenses over $100,000 β which delayed aid to victims of floods and hurricanes.

Quote from Washington Times editorial board "[Radical liberals] don't realize that, when they express contempt for the man who holds the country's highest office, they reveal their contempt for the Americans who put him there."
Uh no...we definitely realize it.
This election is about more than a change of government, itβs about a change of system (rendszervΓ‘ltΓ‘s). The Hungarian term is exactly that used to describe the change of system that took place in 1989 when communism collapsed.
Trump administration officials acknowledged in closed-door briefings with congressional staff that there was no intelligence suggesting Iran planned to attack US forces first, two people familiar with the matter said reut.rs/46ybyTg
