Yabaya Jetfire / Macross Valkyrie version 2 is now on Cults. Updated with VF-1D parts. I've also done a ton of small tweaks to it for better assembly, transformation and durability. Thanks to everyone who downloaded this and gave me feedback!
ThreeZero and Bandai DX Chogokin Hikaru VF-1J.
ThreeZero, Bandai DX Chogokin, and Bandai reissue Hikaru VF-1J (early 2000s).
One of the first anime I ever saw was Robotech. I love the Macross Valkyrie designs, especially both of Rick/Hikaruβs units, like this VF-1J.

The colors on a Macross Strike VF-1D really pop! Currently working on a revised version of my Yabaya Jetfire/VF-1 that includes VF-1D parts.
My wife got me this Ice Man toy for my birthday. He pairs well with my 3d printed VF-1J!
Welp I am never transforming my God Ginrai reissue ever again...

My 3d printed Jetfire needs a bit more work, but looking pretty good so far!
Jetfire looks better now with arms and a head :-
Tinkercad "Yabaya" Jetfire/Macross VF-1S is coming along! Still needs a ton of work, but I'm happy with the progress.
100% I hate that I have to pay for it on the other site, but it is very helpful!!

I've heard for old stickers, if you heat them with a hair dryer, it activates the glue better before you apply them, but I've never tried it myself.
Some 3D printed Yabaya Transformers
My favorite unreleased Transformer.
Design patent for unreleased Ostrich Cassette. Filed 1985-03-15. Creator: Takashi Matsuda. Registration Number 0731255.
Trying out reposting my tfpatents account from twitter here to see if people are interested. It's been really fun going through all the old patents and making sense of the timelines, creators, diagrams, etc. Finding unproduced toys has been really cool too.
The Japanese patent for the Micro Change release of Ravage. Filed 1982-12-18, the same date as Frenzy/Rumble. Inventor: Takashi Matsuda. JPS5996091 (U)
I remember these. They were based on the Micromasters but a little smaller and details and colors were not 1-to-1 identical. I think I found them at K-Mart as a kid.
I made this design! Starscream is next :-)
That's a smart bot!!
Transformation video for my 3d printed mini Megatron: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Rvs...
I actually really enjoyed the part at the beginning. It reminded me so much of Napoleon Dynamite, including the tots :-)
