Jonathan Karl @jonkarl Pres Trump told me tonight the US had identified possible candidates to take over Iran, but they were killed in the initial attack. "The attack was so successful it knocked out most of the candidates," Trump told me. "It's not going to be anybody that we were thinking of because they are all dead. Second or third place is dead."

There's a subtext to this sociopathic statement that some are missing, I think.

It suggests Trump IMAGINED the #2 and #3 choice would immediately side with Trump, like Delcy Rodriguez did.

There's no reason to believe anyone in Trump's vicinity is going him good analytical advice.

Trump bombed Iran because we were dangerously close to obtaining the statements from a victim who Trump allegedly "forced to perform oral sex on him when she was 13 or 14 years old and subsequently hit her." This story was building in the news. These Trump survivors still deserve justice!
