Growing up foodless poor, being molested, raising my own sisters and literally standing in front of my alcoholic mom to protect her from being beaten, and then chronic pain, a bad spine, MS, diabetes and more couldn’t dim me like this. It is only going to make me fight harder.

According to my therapist, I’m depressed. I don’t feel depressed, or sad, or unhappy… i just sort of am. But my normal baseline is happy, my default in life is happy. I still feel happiness, but it’s not as encompassing as it once was. This administration has dimmed my shine.

When I worked at an adult store we had a regular who came in and always put so much effort into their outfit. They came in on Christmas in a stunning outfit so we told them they were stunning. The look on their face made it so worth it, you never know when your words have more weight than expected.
That’s a pretty awesome update honestly.
I had one I tracked all the way to where it said it was being delivered that day, only for it to disappear and show it as just dropped off here. I called, talked to my post office, then the post office where it was supposed to go. No one knew anything.
It was delivered the next week. 🤦🏻♀️

I was, hehehe he named his cat horse. Then I remembered that I’d named a cat Dee O’gee. Yeah I got fancy with it, but I still named our cat, Dog.

You can’t claim to not allow hate products because you want to build a welcoming environment, but also allow concentration camp merchandise to be sold. Those two don’t go together.

To me, in round about speak, this says “we aren’t going to do anything, and we are going to hide behind the excuse of allowing a broad range of different perspectives and ignore what our policies actually say.”
I hate to lose Etsy, but you can’t have it both ways.

I said that while they were the biggest site of their sort, they weren’t the only ones, and I would no longer buy or sell with them if they continued to allow hate on the site. This was the answer I got back.

I linked to their own policies, highlighted the important points and explained how that went against their policies. Then I said I would not tolerate contributing to a company in any way that allowed crap like that to be sold, even against their own polices.

Etsy might be a lost cause. I dug up a way to email them and explained I was appalled that they allowed “Alligator Alcatraz” merchandise to be sold which goes against their own policies. Immigration status is one of the things they list as not allowed hat3 products for.
