There's lots of trees around us now! It's a rural set house, also we're 100 m from the sea shore 🤗 Can see the ocean (we're in a bay) & the mountains - stunning 😍 Soooo many birds here too, including herons! Dusk & down are literally buzzing with all the noise 🤭🐦🐦‍⬛💚

I can't describe how sad, furious & in shock me & Hubby are! ALL the trees & bushes around the house have been chopped to oblivion yesterday 😭 These were home to robins & blue tits!🐦 Why?! WHY?!?! Thankfully we're in the new house from tomorrow & won't have to look at this carnage 💔

Go to chatgpt & put request "create vegan Christmas ebook cookbook" etc. It will give you recipes & if asked even with "photos" 🤬 No clue if it's "creating" sth new or just taking them from blogs/websites 🤷🏻 It's a reason why writers/creators are pissed with AI engines! They cost like €1-€2 on Etsy 😭

Also can't stand restaurants posting AI photos, seems dodgy 😅

Heating oil is up 30% in the past 36h in Ireland! Didn't take them long... Thankfully we got some oil last week for the new house. Now all we have to do is wait for the electric companies to announce new prices & look at our grocery bill going higher & higher as the weeks go by... 🤬

Exactly - we're with Airtricity in the old house, they're shouting how their energy is from wind, yet their prices go up! 🤦🏻 Yes, bit of back garden & patio, not too much but enough for us. Also front lawn & some flower corner (saw 2 🌹 bushes) will see what else will grow there come spring & summer 😅

Exactly what I said to Hubby last night - American & Israeli war that we'll pay the price for 🤦🏻 Diesel & petrol is already up at stations this morning! Saw it coming to work. Now energy & food will follow soon (any excuse to rip us off more! 🤬).

By pure miracle we found sth (at much higher rent than what we pay now...). It's more rural, can hear only birds now 🐦🥰 & super close to the beach, circa 150m from the shore - can't wait for the summer!🌞 We're only 10 min away from school & my work by car. Wrote quite long post about it only today 😅

I'm just in the middle of moving houses, not by choice, but because of landlords' greed! And yes, most of politicians are landlords & the new laws are FOR landlords BY landlords. I can't see how all this will end up being a good thing for Ireland in the long run...

Thank you! 🫶 There was lots of crying (on my part too), as we've been in this house for over 11 years, so girls feel like it's their "home", but we're trying to look at the move as an adventure & new beginnings (location close to the beach is also a plus, can't wait for summer!).

6. To anyone in similar situation: don't lose hope! I know it's tough, especially if you don't have family or friends who can help, give roof over your head, even if for a short while (harsh reality of emigration...). It's only now that I'm starting to sleep peacefully again. Take care of yourself 🫶
