Would have gladly jumped at this price if it wasn't a GKC.
Since it's a GKC I will continue to wait for $20
Your screenshots are saved to your Nintendo cloud storage, which you can access via the Nintendo Switch mobile app. You just download to your phone and then can post anywhere. I took the attached screen recording last night.
THAT GAME YOU LIKE IS GOING TO COME BACK IN STYLE
Yeah - this post would get a ton of heckinβ updoots on Reddit, kind sir
Love your app but this post has this energy:
Okay then use the smartphone + YouTube, nobody is stopping you
Pokopia + Champions
Went in with tempered expectations, but this looks really fantastic. Hoping performance is as smooth as it looks in this trailer. Did GameFreak cook???
This finally feels like the βfull home console mainline gameβ weβve been wanting for a decade+
Yeah, the problem the lawsuit alleges isnβt βlootboxes are gamblingβ - the problem is βchildren are gambling by buying lootboxesβ
I wonder how they propose to fix thatβ¦..
Seems kinda shitty to gate public safety info behind a paywall
FWIW, Sonyβs $200 pro controller drifts, Sony started the paid upgrade trend 6 years ago, and there have been no reports of stick drift in Switch 2 controllers
As a PS5 owner I am also very frustrated about these things, but I point my frustrations at Sony more than Nintendo
Because one is stealing and the other is not
I am very pro-emulation, but the key to ethical emulation is AVAILABILITY. If the game is available for purchase on modern platforms and you choose to emulate, youβre just stealing.
Not if the game misses sales targets and they get laid off as a result.
There is not ethical consumption under capitalism. But paying money for art you like is one of the most ethical forms of consumption.
Nintendo does a lot of stuff I donβt like. So do Sony, MS, and Steam. There is no ethical consumption under capitalism, etc etc
At the end of the day, though, Nintendoβs games are fun. And thatβs enough for me. :)
You donβt think artists deserve to be compensated for their art?
I have both Switch + Deck so Iβm in both communities and the Deck fanbase is so much worse. Theyβre so anti-Nintendo but the second any Nintendo game releases the subreddit is full of βCAN I EMULATE THIS ON DECK???β
If your argument is βonly someone who likes Nintendo games would be happy about thatβ then uhβ¦..yes?
Been eating great this year. My wife and I play Mario Kart a couple nights a week (soon, Orbitals!), and just finished Prime 4 so Iβm digging back into PokΓ©mon Z-A until Pokopia drops on March 5.
In the past 6 months Nintendo has put out 2 long-awaited sequels (Air Ride, Prime 4), a new Mario Kart, a 3D DK game, meaty (free) content updates for Animal Crossing and Splatoon, and the new PokΓ©mon cozy game is getting extremely positive previews
$20 sucks, but otherwise things are great
Things are pretty good on the Nintendo side π€·ββοΈ
Youβre about *checks watch* 6 years too late to that argument. The time to fight this was when the first $10 PS4>PS5 upgrade was announced.
Oh man itβs almost like you need to recognize the realities of the world we live in and make rational, logical choices instead of throwing a throwing your hands up and refusing to help stop genocide
I think you owe your vote to the candidate that would have done the least amount of harm, yes
But itβs understandable you wouldnβt feel that way, being pro-genocide
I feel like these guys watched two seasons of The West Wing and think theyβre Tyrion Lannister level political intellects but in reality they fall for baby-level agitprop instantly
The βthey have to earn my voteβ play only works if you win.
You gambled with genocide, lost, and instead of owning up to it you blame anyone but yourself.
Ironically, you are more supportive of genocide than Harris was.
I think weβre more mad at people who indirectly supported genocide by abstaining from voting
