First off I just can’t get over how good this game looks. The watercolor look fits so well with Pokémon and was easily my favorite part of this. That being said this game fell into a similar issue as the last one where I kept dropping it for some reason

Just Shapes and Beats

This was a game I went back and forth on for the longest time for some reason. The game is fun but also pretty difficult with some cool tracks. Really don’t know why I kept playing other things before finishing this though especially when I realized how close to the end I was

Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix

Combat is majorly improved over the first at the cost of exploration, while that does take away a bit of the experience the advanced combat more than makes up for it. I did check out CoM before but it wasn't my cup of tea so I just saw a plot summary and moved on to this

Kingdom Hearts 1 Final Mix

Combat starts way too slow but the game really opens up after a while and its cool to explore the Disney worlds featured in this game

Sonic X Shadow Generations

To be honest the Shadow campaign is doing a lot of the heavy lifting for my opinion of this, classic Sonic still isn't my favorite to control and I really don't care for the 2D sections but it was nice to play through levels from older games

Wario’s World

The game feels like a mix of a beat-‘em-up and a 3D platformer with your ability to do finishers on enemies but some levels and bosses really dragged this down for me

Crash 3 Warped (Trilogy)

I think this is the best of the three but I hate that the "good" ending is tied to not only most of the gems but also a good chunk of time trials which I wasn't really in the mood to do

Crash 2 Cortex Strikes Back (Trilogy)

Funny how something as simple as adding a slide and removing a good bit of backtracking makes it a way more enjoyable game for me

Some quest dialog was great though

Legends ZA Mega Dimensions DLC

New megas are always cool and I like that some recent pokemon got the spotlight, the general loop of the DLC is kind of boring though with it just needing more points in order to progress the story. Additionally I just really got burned out with the game at the end

Crash Bandicoot (Trilogy)

The first of three for the Crash N. Sane Trilogy and it honestly didn't do much to sell me on it, platforming is too simple and at times a bit too difficult but it wasn't anything too crazy for the main levels

I'll start with the first game I cleared this year being Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time

A long awaited sequel to a childhood favorite game with more stuff and other modes and maps to cover with a DLC that also seems good so far, eager to play more since I am not done yet
