Registered for July's intensive singing camp, with one of the most appreciated teachers in Finland! And also got musical theatre as my minor again this year (although I'm pretty sure it'll turn into an opera production instead since no one sings musical pieces at the camp except for me 😹)

Yesss! Might go to her lessons when summer vacation begins! 🧡

I miss her lessons, our energies matched so well and she always had the right mental images that helped me improve! She also got me my first two gigs when I had never sung in front of an audience before. Wish there was more time so I could go to her lessons, but our schedules don't match at all. 😭

My first "long term" vocal coach contacted me to ask how I'm doing... I told her that I just performed in an opera she said she always knew I could do anything with my voice. 😭 I mainly did pop/jazz with her, but she also taught me the basics of classical singing. What a timing to hear from her 🧡

This con crud is toughhhh.... I've had a fever off and on for a week already. I had to contact a GP to get sick leave, and when I told all my symptoms they were like "uh, are you okay at home? Should we take you in?" 😹 Anyway, resting at home until Wednesday, hopefully I can go to work after that.

The whole world is amazed by Finland having free health care.. But this is the reality for many - it's far away, and you have to wait hours to see a GP. You can book a time, but in most cases you have to wait at least two weeks for an appointment. Online services are more accessible, luckily!
