5/3 First big setback week. They happen, but it's still infuriating! I had a massive craving for cheese, so ended up eating 600g of it, along with two sleeves of crackers and a bottle of port. Ended up gaining 6 lbs on weigh-in, which dropped to 3 the next "morning". Still at over 30lbs lost though.

The company's website claims they keep records and work with law enforcement to retrieve phones. As to whether they release a copy of the ID scanned to the police and/or if the police do anything? That is unclear.

Looking at the website, they can't be implicated with destruction of evidence (the phone just sits in the machine for up to 7 days) & if you have a police report of the theft, they send it back to you ASAP. Whether they take the loss, or work with the police to help prosecute the thief is not clear

It was a "sell your phone quickly" machine. The kid used "find my phone" to locate it to the machine. I'm not sure how these machines keep records, but basically, you put your phone in a slot, it confirms what make/model of phone it is and it pays you the scrap value.
