Instead of taking Live Nation-Ticketmaster to trial, Trump just let them off the hook.
The federal government had been building a case for years, and could have broken up the Live Nation-Ticketmaster monopoly.
But Trump just let them settle out of court.

Multiple news outlets are reporting a US attack on an Iranian #desalination plant.
If verified, this violates international law protecting #water systems during wars, and it sets a dangerous precedent, given intense dependence of Gulf countries on desalination.

There's something deeply obscene and broken about the fact that Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth are bombing elementary schools in an illegal war of aggression, and there's still a sense among the opposition that it has to be explained in terms of gas prices in order to get American voters to care.
Lying shamelessly is a defining feature for so many executives in today's tech industry. They learn from top dogs that this is the way to get ahead. Until we figure out how to publicly shame liars and hold them accountable, their lies will only grow.
Seriously, imagine thinking in this historical moment that the way to increase accountability is to increase executive power
San Francisco already has a strong mayor system, but that’s not enough for those who want full control vested in billionaires.
Just in time for No Kings Day, Lurie and Mandelman argue “Giving more power to the mayor would create more “accountability.”
ICE has arrested and detained a Nashville journalist who reported stories critical of ICE. She’s married to a U.S. citizen and has been seeking asylum here after fleeing death threats in Colombia because of her journalism there.
They’ve already sent her to Louisiana.

“Johnson asked if Wong will work to move the 1234 Great Highway [Prop I funded, 199-unit] affordable housing project forward….
Wong, in his fourth month as the Sunset supervisor, punted. I’m still developing my policy perspective on this,” he said.”
Unacceptable.
This is the Republican Party now.
MTA killed 365 units of affordable housing citing funding constraints. Prop I tax revenue could have been used to fund these homes but Lurie refuses to spend that $ on housing. And now he & the YIMBY supervisors are trying to abolish the tax to enrich billionaires instead of building social housing.
“Jenkins made clear she’s firmly pro-billionaire, labor unions be damned.”
Exposing him as a liar doesn’t work. Everyone knows he is a liar. Trump wants everyone to know he is lying and breaking the law. He basks in the reality that he can lie every minute of every day and get away with it. To him, that’s the ultimate power. The power to lie and break the law with impunity
The same week he is calling for $100 million worth of cuts to city jobs, the Mayor and the D5 Supe introduced a $100 million tax break for billionaires

“Sherrill says he got his job because he was qualified”
“Sherrill was largely unknown in the community, and had no legislative experience. He was a protégé of Bloomberg in New York City and held a Bloomberg-funded position in San Francisco City Hall. He was, furthermore, a former Republican”

BREAKING: Today Bernie Sanders is proposing new legislation to raise $4.4 trillion in taxes from America’s billionaires — a move that would virtually cut their massive fortunes in half.
A chunk of the money raised would go toward sending a $3K stimulus check to every person earning under $150K.
The U.S. war on Iran is clearly unconstitutional. Members of the military have the right, and in some cases have the duty, to refuse illegal orders.
What in the hell??????????????????????????

Trump has no power to “decree” that voters must present ID or to end mail-in balloting. But that doesn’t mean he can’t at least try both.
