It was reported, Trump had a one HOUR phone call with his (foreign advisor) counterpart Putin yesterday and then he made this public announcement.
Apparently, Trump will remove sanctions giving Putin the opportunity to benefit from this manufactured war.
They don't care if we know.

It's hard to say. Detention numbers are down significantly. We can't say exactly why for now (I have theories, as do others) but if the Homan/Lyons wing has convinced the White House that the Miller/Noem mass deportation pushes were bad politics, they may have finally found the brake pedal.

It’s like not a single person surrounding Trump studied one thing about Afghanistan. When a bombing campaign intentionally makes life this miserable for civilians, all it does it make hardline leadership more attractive and become bulletin board material for extremist groups.
