IDK, that leadership team kind of looks AI generated. Does anyone know these folks?

One of my favorites is Smashing Pumpkins' cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide."

Depends on the criteria but point taken. And as for the most revealing of true motives, it tops the list.

If journalists in corporate, for-profit news media were going to sound any alarms, they would've done so in 2016. There is nothing new or worse about this conduct than what we've seen for 10 years. In fact, it's on brand. Multiple US institutions failed. They're not going to self-correct.

Exactly. Keep seeing TACO posts and I don't think people understand that you can't unring this bell. It's not the same as tariffs on/tariffs off.

Keep an eye on what @macfarlanenews.bsky.social does post-CBS. He's an exceptional journalist. Where he lands and how he responds to the earthquake in the corporate news media landscape will be instructive.

BTW, Magnolia Journal is a real find. Elegant layouts with a mix of garden design, cooking, and decor that's a charming escape from ... all of this. Change the channel in your brain (ATTN: gay fam).

Stopped into the local Barnes & Noble last night and browsed the newsstand. Brought home a stack of (mostly) gardening magazines for spring inspo. Sometimes I forget physical mags are still a thing but they are, and there's nothing better. Screens can't duplicate the experience. Go print!
