I'm glad you agree. I'm unemployed for 20 years due to discrimination against autism. Suicide is never far from my mind because I am so useless.

For most people a job is proof of worth on the world. Expecting autistics to be above this by charging them with internalized ableism is a form of sbleism itself
I sent it. I can only pray the read it. Two weeks of silence so far.
I sent a query letter. Everyone pray for me.
@wolfiesmom.bsky.social do you like reading novels?
I am autistic and I need a job.
@scalzi.com I'm ready to submit my query but I have one question. I did try to release my book as a self pub but nobody could buy it on B&N because it had a bad ISBN. I pulled the book a week ago. Is it untouchable by agents anyway?
Name me one... JUST ONE... corporation willing to hire any experienced software designer revealing themselves as autistic, and I will concede that employers are no longer bigoted against us.
Blame the state.
Nobody would want to be affected by autism and sidelined from work for 20 years. I refute your claim.
Thats mine.
Woof!
Should I only submit my first novel if I have a whole trilogy ready, or do I submit all three volumes as separate queries?
Thank you! I still wanted your blessing because this way I know who I can trust.
You are one of my favorite authors. I really enjoyed Fuzzy Sapiens. I have a trilogy ready for an agent. May I submit to yours, please?
Who can I trust? I don't want a front for a vanity publisher.
Took my paperback off sale because it's ISBN is unfindable. That's likely why no one bought it of the B&N site?
So, I still have a chance for trad publishing of my entire trilogy. I think. Or, should I put it back out there with a new ISBN and let my widow profit later?
Tor no longer accepts unagented manuscripts. Daw no longer has a submissions page. Do you yourself use publishers directly, or agents?
Tor and Daw. But neither seem to have web pages for submissions.
I have to replace my ISBN. As a result, my self published novel Alouette's Galaxy could never be purchased online.
Any suggestions for an ethical agent?
I'd appreciate suggestions where I can find an ethical agent.
@laurenlopesauthor.bsky.social I just finished writing a novel and need advice whether to go trad or indy.
Mine? Alouette's Galaxy, is a near-future hopefunk story of first alien contact by a Jewish family, with two rom-com story lines.
Alouette's Galaxy is also a modern re-enactment of The Skylark Of Space, with a college aged crew.
I'm trying to send a message because I know of no other way. I have an sf book ready for a publisher or agent but I don't know who to trust. May I have a few suggetions?
I'm an author. How can I provide your store with my books?
I wish I could find an agent who accepts literature from autistics.
