but then, like, do high-G-like sub modes or difficulties count? if they do, then you can add like
- TGM1’s 20G mode
- Sega Tetris (DC/Naomi)’s Hard mode

but then if you include those, does starting at the maximum level

oh man, that’s a good question. off the top of my head, there’s the obvious TGM modes:
- TGM2’s T.A. Death
- TGM3’s Shirase
- TGM4’s Master (and maybe Asuka?)

then there’s just general dedicated “high speed” modes:
- Tetris Advance (GBA)’s Advance mode
- Tetris (PSP and PS3)’s Radical variant

i miss tech being bad for a lack of effort, not for concentrated effort into things that don’t work
