especially as so far this year vingegaard has been racing against relatively unthreatening opposition - we’ll have a more accurate view of where the dominance lies when he’s actually up against pogačar, and to a lesser extent, roglič and remco
I was thinking about this, but I do think that a few dominant wins from vingegaard here and there (amongst a whole host of subpar performances and bad luck) can’t really be compared to pogačar winning any race he wants (minus 2, where even then only mvdp can stop him) with 50k-80k solos everytime

I feel like his ankle is probably still playing up and he doesn’t think he stands a chance with mvdp there now anyway so he’s decided to take more time off😔
I genuinely can’t believe that this many people are out sick/injured already at this point in the season😔 is it usually like this and I’m just forgetting, or is it worse this year than normal?
