If you implement a camera into your game (where it makes sense), you can take so many photos! Not just to store them someplace, but to use them for marketing your game as well. My folder for Down the Mountain's photos counts 425 images, so I was spoiled for options 💛
Does it have bugs! Absolutely! But none are game breaking, as far as I know. Mostly, animals just get mislabeled because at some point, I went nuts and added too many in too small spaces and my camera system couldn't read minds. But this year was also another reminder about another thing:
This was one year of screenshots of my game Down the Mountain. Thank you to everybody who chose to give it a try, play it, talk to me about it. It means a lot to me, even though this really was just a tiny project I created over about 48h. Even about two years later, I'm still proud of this game.
I spend ages here, just standing and looking at the scenery. And even a year or two later, I still think the result was worth the effort.

It makes animating and colouring, displaying and giving Text a certain style easy and rather intuitive - two qualities I love in tools. Plus, the asset has one of the best documentations I have ever come across. If you work with TextMesh Pro, give this one a look.
I love tools that make #gamedev in #unity3D easier and are intuitive to use - and Text Animator by @febucci.com is in my list of favourite assets ever. Which probably has absolutely nothing to do with my channel being almost half all about Text in UI :D [affiliate link]
It also comes with a good documentation, which I very much appreciate. I typically set it up by using a google sheet I fill with keywords and translations and it works like a charm. Easy to set up and use - if you need a solid localization system, give this one a look.

I2 localization is so easy to use you might be sceptical of its results. I sure was. But really, it is super easy to use and implement. I have been using it a lot and have never really run into anything it couldn't handle. [affiliate link]

Circling birds high in the sky brought a bit more life into this game. It lacks animations, but I feel okay about it. Its charms are in other areas.
