Badger’s a Basic Brown Boy from South Texas, some parts sold separate. He had it rough. Sleep is impossible most nights not bc of his military service, but bc of the hell his ungodly catholic priest father put him and his mother thru. Jail time wasnt enough to fix anything, but gutting him sure was.

If he’s honest with himself tho? He misses his parents. His friends. His dogs. He wont admit it to anyone, but he does. Even after them putting him through so much bullshit. Sometimes he still wishes he couldve stayed closeted just to keep his family, but he would Not have been able to survive that.

Raven would much rather focus on work than her gender, but thats bc she was able to transition early in her life. She tells most people she’s a woman as far theyre concerned. On paper shes a woman. But the light in their eyes at anything gender neutral speaks volumes esp for a person so stone-faced

Then the trans people
Dean is just a guy to most people. It’s not that simple, but he doesnt have the energy to explain himself, and nobody really deserves an explanation beyond what’s required for his paperwork to be in order. Until he gets piss drunk and the right person (Badger) asks him about it

LoTAC is too scared of what his sister will think to really think much about his own gender. He doesnt really know what he wants to be. He never really has. He followed her lead from the beginnin— even if a decent bit to the left— so the idea she’ll resent him at any capacity just stagnates him

Then there’s the middle ones.
Dogs. Not fully cis, but fully unable to accept w/e he might be. Hell is too real for him for how gay he feels, already. Sure, he’d much prefer if he could be in the middle of the gender spectrum, but he’d rather saw off his other arm than admit to anything of the sort.
