This was a brilliant course! I took it a few years ago & learned so much. It definitely informed the writing style for my new book. Thoroughly recommend!

The truth about what happened to Hitler’s corpse There was no surviving witness to the dictator’s suicide on April 30 1945, which created a cultural vacuum ripe for myth-making

When your feature for @telegraph.co.uk gets saddled with a totally misleading, clickbaity title that has nothing to do with the actual theme you were asked to write about... πŸ€¦πŸ˜’ (linked, reluctantly: www.telegraph.co.uk/books/non-fi...).

A poster advertising details of the call for participants for a roundtable discussion mentioned in the post. Key details to note: The seminar will be held on-campus at the University of Roehampton. While the event will be hybrid, participants are asked to attend in-person. Current plans for the research seminar to be on a Thursday or Friday in May, but this is subject to the availability of participants. Anyone who is interested, or may know anyone they could recommend are asked to DM, and I am willing to provide my email for any inquiries here too.

Hello hello! I am looking for London-based scholars working in queer and/or trans* studies who would be willing to participate in a roundtable discussion on a research seminar being planned for May on my thesis, Symbols of Pride & the Politics of Queer Liberation. See below for more information.

Why has Hitler taken so long to die? The way that Hitler died is fundamentally unique in the history of 20th century dictators. But does that explain his cultural afterlife?

Very pleased to see that the first media feature pertaining to my forthcoming book is out now with @bigissue.com! Thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to talk about why Hitler has had such a "long death": www.bigissue.com/culture/book...

Absolutely! There is not a single picture of Hitler 'in life' within this book and, indeed, I'd say he remains a shadowy figure throughout. It's much more about why his fate has generated this peculiar & enduring public fascination.
