Operations Strangle & Diadem saw allied forces trying to block German supply lines from Siena further into Italy. Nazi soldiers occupied many houses in this area; some housed local Jewish families in hiding. Today G9 were in Berlin learning about the history of Jews in Germany. Making connections.

Where in Penzance? I would have enjoyed hearing your keynotes. PZ is home when not teaching internationally- I just rode the train the other way.

As a teacher, school dinners morphed into school lunches somewhere in the ‘90s. It’s so hard to resist a free lunch that I often eat my main meal with a few hundred teenagers. It never felt healthy but now I have a Tuscan lunch- nutritionally controlled, organic, lots of pasta and veg and cheese. 🤌🏻
