As usual, someone else is expected to solve their problems.

> ... how could [the Russian people] have stopped [Putin], when for over 20 years he systematically destroyed every avenue of political resistanceβ€”without facing any serious international consequences?

The fault of "the West", not own.

Russia’s war on Ukraine is full of nurtured, irrational, zoological hatred of the very idea of Ukraine as a country, so Ukraine will have to be erased in the long run, if not now, as a result of the war.

Dus, even een adempauze voor Moskau, om binnen een 5-tal jaar dit allemaal opnieuw te beginnen.

I'd phrase my main criticism of Clean Code and related methodologies as "Reusability is nice but let's not lose our fucking minds"

People write software that probably won't even be used for that long as if they were building the Pyramids because they're too afraid of ever having to rewrite a file

Specifically:
- assign_async/start_async in #LiveView
- streams in #LiveView
- built-in pagination from @ash-hq.org
- bonus points to @ash-hq.org for "calculations" (DB-powered filtering/sorting on related entities' attributes)

Recently I had to heal some naΓ―vely implemented #LiveView from being quite slow on moderate data load.

A few lines of code and the thing is flying - drastically better UX. All thanks to #LiveView & @ash-hq.org

Some people imagine Russia's war of extermination in Ukraine as a Superbowl game or something like that, as if the worst thing that could happen as a result of Ukraine's surrender is Ukrainians just driving home mad and frustrated.

Great article! I’ve been having similar feelings about the state of β€œElixir places” - nice to have the problem description crystallized like that. And the apparent movement towards Elixir Forum does seem like a good idea to me too.
