Superb.
Superb.
Looks like your having a great trip, are you likely to see the Eagle and did you get any Rhabdornis? We were very temted by the Philippines at one point.
Incredible little birds, seeing such small raptors feels odd somehow.
Stunner, saw ours in Borneo
I used to work in a warehouse with a freezer chamber and I still swear the coldest I've been is on a raw day on the North Norfolc coast.
Great White Egret having a wash and brush up at Grimley this morning. #worcsbirds
A bit of Goldeneye display at Grimley this morning. I think she's impressed.

I couldn't decide, markings look goid but not quite the right shape.
Having missed Stonechat for the previous couple of years on my Puxton patch I was pleased to find a pair on New Years Day. Disappointingly I only saw the male today but he did beg to be photographed.

I forgot to post this at the time, presumed leucistic Canadaa Goose in fields from the end of Oldingtom Lane, Kidderminster on 3rd Jan. Apologies for quality but it was a long way and almost dark. I'd be interested to hear others thoughts on it.

You must have my share. I haven't seen more than 60 I my walks around Kidderminster areas.
Ebird is the app I use. It didn't seem to flag which surprised me a bit.
That's fabulous.
Here's the answer to the Jackdaw count. 1684, I didn't count some of the fainter smudges and some of the blobs may have had more overlapping birds than I counted so probably a few more.

And to you Dan.
There's a big Jackdaw roost in the wet woodland at the Northern edge of Puxton Marsh. I'm slowly counting these from the picture but if anyone wants a stab at it feel free. I'll post the count when I've finished.

I found a pair of Stonechats at Puxton this morning after not getting any last year. That's birding I guess.
The Crossbills at Eymore Wood have been pretty uncooperative this year so I was pleased to get decent views of c15 of them yesterday. Shame the light was so poor for photos but here they are anyway.

I'm usually much too slow to take pictures of Long-tailed Tits but this one was very patient with me. Taken at Upton Warren in 22nd. #worcsbirds #birds
Thanks, I'll certainly look more closely in future.
It'll certainly make me look more closely in future.

Thanks
I was going for scarlet ibis
Ringed Black
Another quiet visit to Trimpley res, the highlight was this ringed Black-headed Gull. Black ring on left leg number is XPK1 I think. Does anyone know the best place to check the number?
#WorcsBirds
I was lucky enough to see them 3 times what a band. No one had more energy.
