Had my second day and first real med school lecture today, on the biochemistry of nutrition and health disparities. Interestingly enough, the health disparities portion was mostly about DOGE and Big Ugly Bill affecting communities. This bullshit admin is already affecting my career

Sometimes it feels like the only way to make friends and have connections in the queer community is to be sexually available to people and present in very sexual or alcohol oriented spaces and I struggle to feel confident or comfortable in those environments.

I got accepted to medical school today. I’ve spent many years wondering why I didn’t measure up to my peers to get interviews. Finally got an ADHD diagnosis, it all made sense. I can’t wait to be an MD!
